Natural Gas Vehicles (NGVs)

A large number of car and truck manufacturing companies now offer vehicles that can run on 100% compressed natural gas (CNG) or propane. These vehicles come directly from the manufacturer prepped to be fitted with a CNG or propane system.
Helping customers find the best cost-effective and alternative-fuel solutions to their transportation needs, Hiller Truck Tech is certified through the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) to complete the vehicle build and install CNG or propane fuel tanks and fuel lines to these vehicles. Dual Fuel Propane Conversions
Take your truck to the next level of clean energy with a multi-fuel engine capable of running on two fuels.
Dual Fuel, as it is commonly known, allows vehicles to run on a combination of natural gas and diesel or propane and diesel, providing the benefits of lower fuel costs, cleaner emissions and less maintenance. At Hiller Truck Tech, we can convert any diesel engine and run it up to 50% compressed natural gas and 50% diesel, blending a higher percentage of natural gas to diesel than propane. On a diesel motor we can run up to 30% propane.

Propane is an inherently clean burning fuel due to its lower carbon content. When used as a vehicle fuel, propane can offer life cycle greenhouse (GHG) emissions benefits over conventional fuels, depending on vehicle type, and drive cycle. In addition, using propane in place of petroleum-based fuels may reduce some tailpipe emissions.
When all factors are considered, propane provides a reliable, cleaner burning fuel than similar alternative fuel systems, as well as better long-term cost savings.

BREAKING GROUND ON A NEW STATION BUILD AT HILLER TRUCK TECH
Hiller Truck Tech is making it easier for fleets travelling across Ontario to refuel with natural gas with a new Fuelling Station. Located at Hiller Truck Tech, directly off Highway 401 in Ayr, Ontario. We will build you a natural gas fuelling station at your facility that will suit the needs of your fleet. If you are thinking of converting your fleet to natural gas, Hiller Truck Tech offers solutions for the following services:
Financing
To help minimize financial and conversion risk, Hiller Truck Tech will facilitate station building and own the CNG station so that there is reduced capital investment for the end user. We want to focus on how you realize fuel cost savings sooner, increase your profits and make you more competitive.
Design/Build
We will facilitate the design and build a CNG fuelling station (time-fill and fast-fill) for commercial fleets. From site analysis, engineered drawings to modifying vehicle maintenance facilities, our local capabilities are unmatched in Canada.
Fleet Conversion
Making the switch from diesel to CNG takes planning, strategizing and execution. We can custom design a pilot project that allows you to test the performance, reliability and cost savings of CNG. We will then advise and help manage your fleet’s conversion based on your replacement cycle.

Mobile FuelLing Station
When you invest in a mobile fuelling station for compressed natural gas, you ensure that your fleet has easy and convenient access to fuel at any desired site location. If you encounter an interruption at your fuelling station or need to make a repair, a mobile fuelling station also allows the trucks in your fleet to stay on the road.
